President John Mahama has officially handed over two vehicles gifted to him to the state’s pool, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

The declaration was made on Monday, May 5, in accordance with his newly unveiled code of conduct for government appointees. The vehicles were presented by Government Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu to Chief of Staff Julius Debrah.

Mr. Ofosu emphasized that when such gestures are received, “officials are required to hand them over to the state.” This move aligns with President Mahama’s pledge to lead a government that operates with honor and dignity, ensuring that all officials adhere to strict ethical standards.

During the launch of the code of conduct for appointees, the President reiterated a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption, arrogance, and abuse of office.
