Kwabre East MP Urges Ghanaians to Avoid Partisan Attacks on National Issues
The Member of Parliament for the Kwabre East Constituency Hon Kwasi Onyina Gyamfi has called on Ghanaians to refrain from engaging in partisan attacks, especially when national matters are being discussed. He made this statement during an exclusive interview with Media 9 on the afternoon of Wednesday, 18th April 2025.

During the interview, the MP commended the Majority Leader in Parliament, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, for his affability, objectivity, and non-partisan approach to his duties. When asked who he would choose as a mentor, he named Hon. Iddrisu, applauding his leadership style and commitment to national unity.
He also expressed appreciation to members of his own party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who share similar values and stand on common ground with the Majority Leader in Parliament.
Commenting on recent events in Parliament, the MP condemned the acts of hooliganism that occurred during the vetting of ministerial nominees. However, he added that such outbursts, while not ideal, are sometimes used to express dissatisfaction and to demand accountability, ensuring that the right procedures are followed and that such incidents are not repeated.
He further emphasized that political leaders are often unfairly blamed for wrongdoings committed by individuals, even when they have no direct connection to the incidents.
