The highly anticipated inauguration is set for Saturday, May 3.
General Nguema achieved a significant victory in Gabon’s April 12 elections, having previously guided the nation through a transitional period after the ousting of former President Ali Bongo Ondimba.
President Mahama’s presence highlights Ghana’s commitment to regional solidarity and diplomacy, reinforcing the enduring bilateral ties between Ghana and Gabon. His leadership prioritizes peace, stability, and African integration.
Accompanying the President are National Security Advisor Prosper Douglas Bani, Secretary to the President Dr. Callistus Mahama, Minister for Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Stan Xoese Dogbe.
